That shift happened pretty fast, honestly as I’ve only had it for a few days nd I'm still getting to know the product inside out. It can do a lot of stuff. It handles the its of the YouTube video production pipeline I used to dread. Titles, descriptions, tags, chapters, shorts, thumbnails. None of this is hard to do manually, but it takes a lot of time and sometimes I just get writer's block and can't think what to put in the title or the description, and making the chapters used to be a right pain. If you have ever had to put chapters into a video manually, you will know what I mean. You need to go through the whole video, note the timestamps manually, and then create the text. Sometimes you get it wrong because you put a comma in the wrong place or something, but all that has gone now because Taja just handles it. Most of the time what comes out is genuinely close to what I'd have written anyway, which is not something I say about a lot of AI tools. The shorts feature surprised me the most. I have been wanting to make shorts for a long time, but doing them using something like Premier Pro or Camtasia takes forever. I haven't bothered yet. I expected Taja to just grab random clips and call them highlights. It doesn't. The cuts feel considered, like something a decent editor would have flagged. I've gone back and watched the source footage after and thought yeah, that was actually the moment worth getting out there. Thumbnails are similarly good and actually usable. While Taja excels at automation, I'd love to see more brand customization options. Having the ability to upload brand guidelines and channel-specific details would make thumbnail generation more consistent with our brand identity. Additionally, it would be fantastic if we could upload our channel's USP and relevant keywords to help Taja better understand our niche. It doesn't work for every type of content, however. For instance, I haven't been able to get shorts for a gaming channel. The tool advises that it doesn't work well for Vlogs, Gaming Videos, Music Videos, or Reaction Videos. This is just one feature though. Be mindful of what you want or need for your specific channels. Thankfully I have a diverse range of clients, I'm still trying out the many features but so far I am happy with the backlog boost, thumbnail generation, and idea creation emails I've received. It started months ago as a "simple" cutter for mini clips from long videos. Since then, it has improved and added brilliant features. It has evolved from scheduling content for various social networks, through automations that monitor incoming channel content, video thumbnail creation, and in recent times moving towards becoming a powerful tool for analytics, scripts, and semantic analysis of our channel and competitors. It's already becoming useful as a YouTube keyword analysis tool. It's absolutely phenomenal. The only point missing for it to be a 6-star tool relates to thumbnail quality, which can still be improved, namely with some functionality that could capture texts generated/included in AI images, allowing us to correct their spelling. I know it's difficult to develop a "pick up text" tool like the one in Canva, but it would be the cherry on top. Moreover, I think being able to choose a better LLM or another LLM besides GPT-4 for text creation could also be positive. Like being able to choose any Anthropic model. But this might already be asking too much. In short, a 5-star tool. Take advantage, because I think that given the time they're listed on Appsumo, they'll soon be gone and you might miss the opportunity to acquire this valuable tool. Plusses: -the platform does what is says and it's very powerful - focus is on great titles and descriptions for SEO. It splits a longer video into multiple shorts. It schedules all posts on youtube and other platforms calendar. Great Backlog feature where they scan all lrevious uploads and provide inproved titles and descriptions. What Could be better? The AI generated thumbnails seem rather unprofessional when on each of them there is a stranger person appearing.. maybe an option to choose faceless thumbnails would solve this. -The Next Video Idea schedule is not working as expected, there are no emails coming.. -Less emoji's in the descriptions, they should sound more humanized..
